Acer ginnala seed
It rises 15-20 feet with a spread of 15-28 feet and a lovely rounded crown. It can be allowed to grow into a large shrub or pruned to a mulit or single stemmed small tree.
It begins its colorful display in early spring, when fresh green leaves begin to emerge, and holds it throughout the summer. As autumn approaches the leaves change to orange and then a vibrant bright red, giving a brilliant display .
In comparison to the species, its leaves are more lustrous, distinctively three-lobed with a long central lobe and a better red (although variable) fall color.
