 This is a nice field grown Japanese black pine.  This pine has nice taper.  The tree has slight movement in the trunk line.  The tree has many branches to work with and a nice root flare at the soil level.  This tree has a nice diameter and could also be considered for a shohin size bonsai.  A shohin size tree is a tree that is 20 centimeters or approximately 8 inches in height.  This tree needs some fine wiring and some time to fill in.  This tree would make a nice addition to anyone's collection.
