Echinops sphaerocephalus seed

This beautiful architectural plant forms a bushy, upright mound of thistly-looking, deeply cut dark green, silvery below leaves. Unusual, globular white inflorescences (6-8 cm in diameter) bloom at the top of reddish stems in summer. “Arctic Glow” is more compact than the species and makes an elegant, attractive to butterflies clump at the back of a border. Ideal for cutting fresh or drying. Easy and showy.
