Schima wallichii seed

An attractive, medium to large tree native to forests from the Himalayas to southern china and Indochina.
It has leathery, glossy green leaves and fragrant white and yellow flowers. The new foliage is a lovely coppery to maroon color.

Germination: Cold stratify seeds for 2-3 months in moist substrate in the refrigerator. Then sow 1cm in coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet around 18-22°C.
