Pink Locust Tree Seed
Robinia sp. ‘Pink Locust tree’ is a Rare small deciduous tree that grows 8’ to 15’ and a member of the Pea Family (Leguminosae or Fabaceae). And makes an Attractive landscape tree for small spaces. Also makes a grand accent plant. Robinia sp. has numerous beautiful pinnated compound leaves that will fold in the evening. These small trees begin blooming late spring to early summer. The Showy, Aromatic, inflorescence of dense, drooping racemes 4” to 8” long . . . that are Very Fragrant Rose-Pink to Pinkish-Lilac Pea-Type Flowers in Large Showy Clusters that resemble Wisteria blooms. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs).
