A deciduous tree growing to a medium size (75’) as a standard with small leaves typical of elm trees. Branches fork more than other elms giving it character along with the rough bark. A fast grower that likes full sun and drought tolerant once established.
This plant makes a most interesting deck plant and grows well as a container plant for the home or greenhouse, in addition to being a specimen plant. Treat as a tropical that cannot tolerate frost.
